Do anything that relaxes you and makes your heart sing. Here are some ideas, but feel free to experiment and find what helps YOU:
Self-care practices
Listen to relaxing music (that stimulates the Alpha brain states, just not when you are driving!)
Practice yoga
Listen to guided visualizations and meditations
Engage in your favorite mindfulness practices such as: meditation, breathwork, take a walking meditation or spend time in being in nature
Read a book
Sip tea

I often recommend waiting 1-2 weeks between sessions. During this time, you will be integrating all the work that you did during the session. Some great practices to help you integrate the effects of the session are:
Journal
Practice mindfulness (the Mindfulness Library on my website has many practices to help support you)
Do your homework (yes, I assign some "homework" after each session)
Engage in self-care practices
Spend time in nature
Laugh

Everyone is different and will have a unique experience to a Sound Healing/Eastern Bodywork session. Most people report feeling clearer, calmer and more at ease, able to sense more sensations in their body, lighter, more relaxed, and more self-aware. Often, clients report significant changes in how they relate to others around them and how others relate to them. Sometimes clients will experience some detoxification after-effects, which can vary greatly from person to person. A few reported feeling tired and needing to sleep more for the day of or after the session, or feeling more emotional, but were feeling completely refreshed, centered and balanced after 24 hours.
It is important to allow plenty of time for self-care after the session to integrate the effects. Here are some great ways to nurture yourself after the session:
Rest. Try to get plenty of sleep or rest. Less is more.
Hydrotherapy. Hydrotherapy, in and out, is optimum after a sound therapy session. Drinking plenty of water and herbal teas after a session is recommended, and soaking in a mineral or Epsom salt bath for a minimum of 20 minutes supports the body in detoxifying or releasing any physical components from the blockages released from the energy field. It is also beneficial to be well hydrated before a session due to the sound-conductive properties of water.

Practice gentle yoga
Listen to my Wellness Collection of Guided Visualizations and Meditations
Engage in mindfulness practices such as: meditation, breath work, take a walk, garden or spend time in nature
Sip tea

Remember, the key is to give yourself plenty of time to integrate and process the effects of the healing session.

Absolutely! After each one of our sessions together, whether in person or virtual, I will email you within 1-2 days to follow up. I want to know how you are feeling and what your experience has been since the session, what sensations you’ve noticed in the body, etc. Most people report sensations of release and letting go, a deeper sense of calm and peace, less pain, feeling lighter and more free. I love to hear all that you are guided to share and you may ask any questions. However, you don’t have to wait for my after-session email! You are welcome to email or text me after the session, and I will generally respond within 24 hours (when not in session). I’m always happy to hear from you!
